The unsettling reason why women hold back.

The unsettling reason why women hold back.

 ✨

The greatest regret in life, as reported by those at the very end, is not saying what you wanted to say, not speaking your truth.

You know what’s wild? Just about every woman I know is working on using her voice. Me included. So many truly powerful women still feel like they aren’t saying it all – or saying it all the way right.

There are countless reasons why this is happening, but one of the most important is this: we don’t always feel safe to speak. While lifetimes of conditioning and trauma have taught women to be good and pleasing, there is a way to turn that voice ON.

The root cause can be traced back to our DNA. We are wired to connect. If we were to speak in a way that caused others to be displeased and disconnect, our bodies fire off the signals that we are in trouble and will be left alone to be eaten by a tiger.

Think about to a recent moment when you held back. There was fear there – fear about the consequences. All can be traced back to being left alone because you were too much, wrong or not good enough.

And here’s the truth: the world needs your voice right now. MORE THAN EVER. So the switch flip to turn it on is finding all the ways to provide yourself safety.

What do you need to feel safe? Where does safety truly come from?

Here’s what I want to know: What would it feel like to fully unleash your voice? To speak with even more power ?

I’d love to explore this with you in a complimentary conversation about what it really takes to be seen and heard.

You and me.

Megaphones up.
I got you.

Love,
Cherie
